Raja is an absolutely brilliant singer. His voice is what indian music is all about. He has brought back the purity of indian music in its classical form and will lead future generations to follow in his steps. Lately indian music has become too westernized and I say why would we want to have our music change when its the best in its orginal form. He has shown the world that he is versitile by singing the latest songs to prove a point that he is capable of singing anything. Im glad that he has chosen songs that are difficult and would be hard for anyone who lacks the years of experience and dedication that he has devoted to music. To think one day he will be composing music…there’s no doubt in my mind that Raja Hasan deserves to win this contest.

When I was a little kid, growing up, I used to reach oblivion listening to the voices of the likes of Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam Ali and such. Now, I’m a grown up ( I think), I realized, I could still reach oblivion and lose myself in trance, but, it’s through a voice I have just started to listen to. It’s Raja Hasan.
I honestly and most humbly thank you Raja for sharing such a precious gift of yours with all of us listeners. I live in the U.S. and whenever I miss home and the family, I always listen to the songs you’ve sung and please myself. I also would like to modestly thank the person who recognised Raja.
Hope to hear the voice of Raja for a very very long time.

They knew ID was going to ask you to sing like Adnan Sami just to catch you off guard. The laado thing, they played the same trick on Joy. Hats off to your mentors because they prepared you ahead of time. As for your performance of the weekend it was mind blowing…….you have become a household name everywhere in the world….fantastic. If Askay came on the stage and started singing with you it tells me that he enjoyed your performance as much as we all did. The most impressive part of the show today was when the audience was chanting Raja Raja your fellow contests were also chanting your name, of course except for Mauli and Aneek…..I m not saying this in a bad way I was so touched when Harpreet was chanting your name…that tells me her is a guy with class. Raja I just saw the preview of your Friday’s performance (since I m in Canada I will be to watching later on at nite) it was amazing at first I thought you were singing with your twin, I thought to myself both of them are so talented…..but of course your are Raja Hindustani and pulling these stunts is nothing new to you. YOUR PERFORMANCE WAS BETTER THAN KISHORJI…SORRY KISHORJI NO OFFENCE.
