    I am struck by Raja-mania too. Lemme tell u how. I never even used to watch SRGMP. The first time I saw Raja was just while flipping channels. & just stopped for a moment on Zee where he was getting eliminated (I think!!!). Then Vishal asked him why he wasn’r performing not so well in the few later episodes. Very reluctantly he said….”is stage ki ek maryada hai…isliye main apni personal problem batana nahi chahta tha….lekin aap poochh rahe hain to main batata hoon” (well these are not EXACT words…just a recollection) and then he went on to tell how so many tragedies struck his family one after the other…all in a span of couple of weeks. Two of his very close relative (including a very young nephew) passed away. Due to the shock his elder brother had a paralytic attack & was hospitalised. He decided against going to his family at this juncture …to be able to keep his commitments to Zee. & MY HEART WENT OUT TO HIM IMMEDIATELY. TEARS WELLED UP IN MY EYES. He looked so vulnerable. Then he sang “Meri zindagi ek pyass” I sat there glued to the TV. THis song wasn’t just reaching my ears. It went down straight to my heart. From then on……I don’t know why…I used to watch Zee for the Brahmastra round & pray he would get thru. All the rest is history !!!!!!
