Amrita My Cinderella – Part 1

Oprincence upon a time there was a prince who wanted to marry a princess; but she would have to be a real princess. He travelled all over the world to find one, but nowhere could he get what he wanted. There were princesses enough but it was difficult to find out whether they were real ones. There was always something about them that was not as it should have been. His criteria’s were unique as he dreamt of his special princess throughout his life. He knew his real princess is out there somewhere and as she is very special so the search is not going to be that easy. Every time he went searching, he came home sad. Looking at this the King and the Queen were getting worried and didn’t know what they should be doing to help their young prince. They decided to help their son by joining him in his search and one day as they were riding in the city of Toronto, the main highway was blocked by traffic. They had to take a diversion and as they rode their 12 horse carriage, the prince had a very big smile on his face at one particular spot. A smile that projected that he finally had a peek of his lady love. King and Queen were ecstatic looking at the prince’s happy face and they enquired what he saw. The Prince was already lost in magic and beauty of his lady love but upon asking couple of times all he could do was grin and point out to a place. The King hurriedly asked his loyal servants to stop the royal carriage and got down from his carriage along with the queen. The prince followed with the same love grin on his face and stopped right in front of “Lahore Tikka” grinning away to glory but then all of a sudden, his grin disappeared, and tears started to flow. King and Queen worried as usual didn’t like the look on Prince’s face. Without enquiring further, they looked in the same direction of prince and saw a very pretty princess sitting inside of Lahore Tikka along with 3 other friends. King and Queen, they uttered “Ohh she is perfect, she is beautiful, she will be our new Princess!!”

kingqueenAll three the prince, King and the Queen were lost in the princess beauty and didn’t realize when the princess got up with her friends and drove off right in front of them and they stayed there helpless. As her car disappeared in the traffic, they came back to their conscience and said, “Stop her!!! We need to find her! Go guards go!!! Go and bring the princess with utmost honor – she will be wed to our son soon!!

puzzled man The guards looked in dismay and didn’t know where to look for her but soon the prince spoke, he said – “Oh look, what I found? The princess she dropped something and we shall search for her making this her identity. It has her perfume and so it should help us great deal.” The King asked “but son – what is that you found?”

gumThe prince replied “Oh father – this is a chewing gum packet; look she was holding in her sweet hands. Aah they smell so good. She is indeed unique, my princess my love, I shall find you soon!!”
