Raffu Chakkar ka Funda on Sunday!!
They say for everything little madness, craze or obsession is necessary. These are a start to setup a strong determination. The same applies for singing. Without these, one is somehow incomplete. It is necessary that whatever we may do, results should be satisfactory and I am talking about satisfaction of inner soul and not of outer world. We don’t want to do anything in life for the heck of it and if we do for the heck of it, it’s just not right and plus it will be only temporary. Today’s topic is not about madness or craze or obsession or even about doing things for the heck of it but it is about us and what we believe in – whether we get influenced by others or if we do our own thinking and set up our individuality right. But before that I have a little story to say:
I was waiting for one particular movie for several months – “Yuvraaj”!! And last Friday it was released. But I was shocked to read the reviews. Most of the reviews by so called well reputed critics had given only one to 2 and half stars. I felt something was not right somewhere. My heart just didn’t believe in all the nasty stuff that they wrote about this movie. I felt I still was craving to watch this movie. My weekends normally tend to get busy with friends and a lot of times about nearly 30 to 40 friends end up hanging out together but when it came to watching this movie, I found no one wanted to see the movie with me and everyone spoke which critic wrote what and how they didn’t wanted to spend their money on something that got that less stars or some of them just came with some excuse not to come. But I was adamant and felt I needed to wind up my weekend by watching this movie. Anyway, Sunday night, I drove all by myself to the movie theater, bought a ticket and went inside. Though watching movie alone sounded little weird and I thought maybe I would be alone in the movie hall but I found the theater was full. I was excited that there are many people who think like me and decided to watch the movie themselves instead of going by any damn reviews. And so I was happy!
I have one very bad habit. If a movie is bad, then I can’t sit in the movie hall still for entire 2 and half hours. My feet, legs start to hurt and I desperately wait for the movie to get over. Luckily no such thing happened with Yuvraaj as I enjoyed every bit of the movie. But this is what had happened when I went for movie “Dostana” last week. I felt the movie was completely gross, had ridiculous revealing and the story didn’t make any sense but the reviews where 4 to 5 stars and the same so called “reputed” critics had said the movie is a must watch. I am so very tempted to call them names right now but since this is a public blog, I am deciding to behave instead.
Anyway getting back to Yuvraaj, I loved the movie. It was beautiful, colorful, cinematography, choreography, locales were awesome. Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan and Zayed Khan were simply fantabulously great and it sure is one of their best performances till date. Same goes for beautiful Katrina and the music was enchanting and totally mesmerizing. I felt full “Paisa Wasool” for the eleven bucks that I spent on this movie. And as I speak my mind from my heart, it is my turn to say: Go and watch the movie. It is a good entertaining and emotional movie which only strengthens the love and bond of a family and it comes with a beautiful message as well “Independently we live but United we Stand!” And yes it is a “MUST WATCH!” As for the sold critics who wanted to damage the reputation of those involved with the movie, I can only pray “May God put some sense in their head so that they would stop selling their writings for money and do justice to their work” – Amen to that!
There are many reasons why I brought up this movie topic on this blog. Here it is:
- Sometimes we have to decide what is right and wrong ourselves. We may find many talking against and it is up to us to whether we want to get influenced by them or want to take the credit or blame for our own standing. For example: You may feel you are an awesome singer and has the potential and all necessary credentials to compete in a singing competition. You may have a unique style but that may not be liked by your friends or those surrounding you. They may speak negative. Now it is up to you to let them influence you and back out from competing or try it out yourself. By getting influenced, you are only following their lead but by following your own instinct, you are setting up your own individuality. Worse come worse what may happen – they may be right and you may not get through the audition but if you do get selected that means you dared. And when you dare and get the desired results, the feeling is awesome. So please do DARE and don’t give up anything that you believe strongly in!!
- If we find our self alone in our standing that does not mean we are wrong. We should be proud and never doubt our self. Just because ten people are saying 2 + 2 = 10 does not mean they are right even though they are in majority. If we feel 2 + 2 = 4 then we must stay put with our feelings and not let anyone shake our instincts. The 10 people maybe influential and learned people but they are only human and to err is human. Sometimes we don’t dare to challenge them and follow their lead because it’s too much to challenge a professional. But be different and do Dare! We may feel alone at start but when we reach our destination, we will find ourselves with tons of people who think on similar grounds as we do so we really are not alone.
Never let anyone doubt your own capabilities or shake you from your standing. Never change your loyalties just because the rest is speaking negative. Be yourself, be confident and enjoy your life. At the end of the day nothing counts except for what you believe and how strongly you believe in. As long as one’s believes and actions don’t mean harm to anyone, we are good to go. Don’t wait for encouragement from others to start your project, be the first one to encourage yourself.
And last but not least -

i feel ..before writing evry article,Raffu is doing extensive research…
dear raffu…i don’t go out to see the movie until and unless it is extraordinary.i remember that my last seen movies were ‘rang de basanti , black , and devdas.
but i watch popular movies on my PC. recently i have seen dostana and dus vidania and you know dus vidania is much better than dostana though dus vidania is a low budget and an o.k movie.
now i will try to see this movie yuvraj and give my comments later on.

Loyalty - as most people understand here is - for lack of my linguistic abilities is - plain bullshit.
In my book, I’ll repeat that - in my book - loyalty has nothing to do with a single person, personality, a single religion, GOD (in all caps), a country, or anything one might belive in.
Loyalty has to to simply with one thing - your own conscience.
As long your conscience supports it - believing in a person , a faith, a religion, a country, a nation or or whatever - back it, fight it, support it.
When it doesn’t, simply abandon it.
You might be right, you might be wrong - or a number of grey areas in between - if something doesn’t fit with your consicience - I see no point in backing things any further.
And probably that’s why, you might see this as one of my last messages on this website.

first of all i dont know where this loyalty topic started from?? if its from my article then in my article there were many other positive stuff too and i was talking about influence vs self thinking and it was pure my own damn experience of what i felt against so many damn reviews and thought of writing an article on self satisfaction but i cant believe that we are discussing something else here. first of all why are we discussing? and secondly i dont think loyalty is plain bullshit. loyalty means a lot and one small example is this blog. if it wasnt for loyalty many of us religiously wouldnt login to this site - we would have been jumping around to many sites. we dont get any news or info from raja but look at us we still are here and still here so strong. why?? i dont know what manish had in mind when he had created this blog but now its a family blog - its a place for all like minded people to come and discuss everything under this sky. some of the articles will prove themselves. look at some articles with news or information - they hardly get any response from people but look at game and general articles, everyone is seen interacting. that just shows that people are attached to each other and love interacting and discussing. we are loyal towards each other. and as per my above article i was talking about my loyalty towards salman that no critics like taran adarsh can ever shake of what i firmly believe in. and then to think of it, if loyalty wouldnt have been there, i wouldnt have been here either. right from the day one i had emphasised that manish is and manish will be a big part on this blog and in my life too - like a friend, like a psycho like a small child, like a person to learn lots from and also like a mentor and there is no way he can back out from anything. we have few people who are loyal fans of his and then there are people who are loyal friends but without loyalty we are zilch!!! and i hope we all stop talking about this topic and see entire family together including Manish. if there is some problem lets fight it out or speak but no one is leaving or making the statement as the last post period!! Got it??? I really do hope to see manish’s post soon ..
