Payal’s Diwali Gift for Raja Hasan fans
Just in case you have forgotten me, my name is Manish, and probably a few years ago, I blogged here.
But this time, for a change, I am writing about somebody other than me.
Her name is Payal - and I distinctly remember, she told me during our first conversation on phone - that she is old enough to be my aunt. Point noted Payal jee. If you haven’t noticed her on the blog often, it was because - she doesn’t post her comments often. (Not computer savvy is the standard excuse)
However, Payal jee, like every other aunt of mine, is fond of lectures. She lectures me a bit more than my mother-in-law and a little less than the Mighty Mmao, but she is a delight to listen to. And as far as I know - she doesn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and give a certain gentleman a long lecture- a gentleman who patiently keeps listening to her. A gentleman who we all know as Raja Hasan.
Now, Payal jee, managed to have a talk with Raja Hasan about a week ago. And she was lucky to catch him in a good mood. But apparently Payal jee was not too happy with things that Raja wasn’t keeping in touch with his fans. So she shot the question to him.
Raja, in his inimitable style, managed to pacify her and spelt out his side of the story. According to Raja, it has been just about 365 days since the Saregamapa Grand Finale - and in the whole year - he has had just 10-15 days for himself and his family. His schedule has been so jam-packed over the past one year - that at times he has to rush to catch flights without a chance to grab a meal. He has to put in so much of extra hours at this stage of his career that it is very difficult for him to keep track of what’s going on.
Being not very computer-savvy, he finds dealing with the Internet very time-consuming. “What you might take two minutes to do, would probably take me a hour on the laptop.”
Plus, the whole year has been tough on the domestic front as well -health concerns of family members which has kept him busy. According to Raja, it is not that he doesn’t want to keep in touch with his fans, but it is just that his packed schedule and his own technical skills that make him look aloof. But he also does believe, that this is the time when he has to put in extra hours- it is literally “now or never”.
And then, Raja went on to talk about how his success was almost entirely based on fan support. Both he and his immediate family firmly believe that without his fans, Raja wouldn’t be in the position he is today.
“Main to ek chota kalakaar hoon. Main to apne fans ka karz kabhi nahin utaar paaunga“
The above was enough for Payal jee to retort back - Kuch bhi keh lo, karzzzz nahin kehna.
Wonder why she said that.

Okay, I exaggerated a lot things here about Payal jee - just in case you get to talk to her - she happens to be extremely sweet.
But yes, she would never shy away from giving you a polite bhashan.

but loved reading the article… and thanks so much Payal ji to let us know about your conversation with Raja. We his fans wait to hear from him day and night and want to know about him. we are not demanding any time from his busy schedule but just a word here or there would be good so that we can be sleep comfortably as well. we do want to know what all is keeping him busy. its great to know that he is so busy and may God always keep him busy with new assignments and send plenty of wealth and health his way. we do love him dearly and wish him the best of best in his life. when u talk to him next pls do pass on regards on behalf of us.

please do call ur local FM stations and demand for Maari Teetri as many times as possible.
