Raja Hasan and Jaswir Kaur’s Chotta Chakkar - Ek Se Badhkar Ek
The important news first – which I don’t find one bit surprising. Raja-Jaswir seem to be at the bottom of the table. (I haven’t calculated, but it seems a fair guess – so correct me if I am wrong). So you folks have a one point programme – vote.
Now, back to the ESBE dramatics.
Chotta Chakkar tonight, unlike Raffu Chakkar, was a 45 second impromptu affair. The judges suggest a song/dance on the spot and contestants have to perform on it. Though after watching Sanchita and Minal – I am convinced, there was nothing impromptu about it.
Raja sang Abhijeet’s Mere Khayaalon Ki Mallika. And Jaswir was forced to do a dance that didn’t have the use of either hands, feet or shoulders. And together they managed a 7.
Shiney Ahuja was on the show – and Raja had the chance of singing Baawara Mann song that I am so dying to hear in his voice. Instead he opted or a oft-heard Metro (or was that Gangster number?)….

Cmon’ Lavanya - this website is the pathbreaker in world news. We were the ones who nominated Vishal-Shekhar for Synchronised swimming. But if it is gymanastics - it’s OK - as long as all of us - Raja, his fans , Vishal, Shekhar and the Israeli team are synchronised - everything is fine.

I have a feeling, they are making a stage for the next week elimination of Raja.
On a more serious note - it isn’t surprising. Dhoom Taana was Pyarelal’s work - with the old style orchestera recording - instead of the photoshop like layered recording where everything is done in bits and pieces. In my humble opinion, a lot of credit for this should go to Pyarelal.
Manish I agree with you, very disappointing performance by Raja. Hope I am wrong looks like this is the last week for Raja.
This is all pre-planned by Zee. Abhishek with that lousy singer will be the winner. But we should not give up hope and keep voting. God bless Raja.

you better believe that Raja only is going to take away the title,dont take those so called judges comments seriously ,everything is scriptted in the show,
If you observe their comments, you can clearly understand that, whom ever they want to eliminate that particular week ,judges would have all praises for the would be eliminated jodi, so you should be happy that they are not praising our Raja,
The only difference is that they got Aneek out before Raja. Is this supposed to be Zee or whoever’s attempt at peace offering to Raja and his fans for the SRGMP ride we all took? Anyways, now that we kind of know what to expect, let’s see the new tamasha lined up for us.

I have no doubt - Raja-Jaswir will make to the finals. The low marrks tonight is just to urge all Raja fans to get a bit more worked up and vote.
Now, an important thing. Are the votes being counted? If you ask my opinion - my answer is simple - NO.
But, it still is important to vote. Let me explain why.
Raja Hasan has only very few ways to show how strong his fan base is.
One happens to be THIS website. One look at this website - and people begin to wonder (Example Sanober) why this guy clicks.
Two: The record sales. Or physical sales figures of CDs that Raja has sang. (Along with Radio station requests and the like). This however cannot give a true picture. Because there are various other factors like an album is not based on one singer or one song.
Three: The most important fact is the voting figures in shows like these. People liek Pankaj Shukla - who have been associtaed with Zee - precisely know how many votes Raja has got in Saregamapa. And that is the one reason he has hand-picked Raja for his film. Same with people like VS. They know that Raja has a massive fan base - which cannot be compared to any other relaity show contestant (Or for that matter any current singer). That is why raja is getting so many releases.
So, the point is - whether Zee counts votes or not - it is important to vote. Because this is OUR SHOW OF STRENGTH.
It doesn’t matter if Zee manipulates and doesn’t pick Raja as the winner or eliminates him next week. Yes, we might spend money for a result we might not see. But, for people in the music industry KNOW thse voting figures and can work out who really has a fan base.
So it is immaterial what Zee does. You vote and they count - at least in the longer run.

It looks like a Sanchita Vs. Raja finals planned. And again, they’ll try the old trick of Bikaner vs. Bengal.
You would next week see a bit of a horror show - where the judges (specifically Abhijeet) rip into Raja while praising Sanchita. Please don’t let all this distract you.
Zee would be doing their bit to maximise their revenue. And all you have to do is make efforts to maximise Raja’s exposure.
Well said Manish - Need you to put things into perspective once in a while and to get a broader view of events. I especially liked the way you presented the immediate (ESBE) and the future career path for Raja.
I am happy to know that we will be supporting Raja for his long-term career growth - which is what really, really matters - that he have a long, successful career in his chosen field.

regarding Raja’s future endeavor, i think Raja will be busy with recordings and song releases in near future also his album is suppose to be releasing soon.
there is no news yet of him participating in any reality shows but he might come in as a guest in many shows like soaps and other shows.
lets pray that all his songs that releases will be blockbuster hits and he will climb the number one position in bollywood to stay there forever.
