Tribute this week - "Ajantha Amartunga"

Today’s tribute is to a person for whom the above quote is very close to her heart. She is a perfect daughter, a perfect sister, a perfect wife (newly wed) and a perfect friend. She is everything that a mother, sister, husband and a friend would ever pray for.
It is indeed my pleasure and honor to pay today’s tribute to our dear member who resides in another Country where the language spoken is no where close to Hindi yet the language barrier never stopped her from understanding the singing and becoming a huge fan of Raja Hasan.
Yes Friends, today’s tribute is to our lovely member – Ajantha Amartunga!
Ajantha resides in Sri Lanka and is a Buddhist. She believes and the practice she puts in her daily life is worth a big applaud. Her upbringing, her behavior says a lot in all her actions. She is a prayer come true for this world. She has the most caring and loving heart that I have come across. She feels for everyone from deep down her heart and she can go to any extreme to maintain peace and harmony. She is an inspiration to many youth and can be a perfect role model for present and future generations.
She started to watch Zee TV after watching Raja’s performance. The first Raja song that touched her heart and made her a big fan was “Maa Tujhe Salaam” and afterwards she saw “Allah ke Bande” repeatedly and ever since she never stopped following her idol that touched her heart and made her stronger in her everyday of her life. In her own words she says: “me I love to hear music but I never had got addicted to any particular singer but Raja Hasan, his voice is fantastic and also his smile is amazing. I love to hear his songs and I always used to repeat same song several times. I voted him as much as I can and asked my friends also to vote for him via online.” To her Raja is the most handsome guy and she prefers seeing Raja in any Indian outfit. She too shares the same Zodiac sign like Raja – “Capricorn”
You may not find that many messages coming from her but if it’s your happy or sad occasion, you will always find Ajantha by your side to wish you or console you. She will become your pillar strength and will make sure to bring you out from the darkness. If it is your happy occasion then she will make you feel on top of the world with her love. I recently witnessed that. On my birthday, right on dot there was a sweet parcel that came all the way from Sri Lanka and in there was a sweet little gift and plenty of birthday wishes. I was shocked and surprised but couldn’t stop grinning.
She loves outdoors and camping – she was fortunate enough to camp in the wild jungles of Sinharaja Forest (yes this is a forest where “Lions” reside), and also at Udawalawe Park which is famous for wild elephants, crocodiles and other wild animals. It is an ancient believe that if you witness a peacock dance, it brings you lots of luck and happiness in your life. And I am very happy that Ajantha was fortunate enough to see a beautiful peacock dance while she camped at the forest.
In this present world where we hear news how kids are neglecting their parents, how they are so self absorbed in their own life’s that they send their parents to old age homes, here is a perfect example of a good daughter. If it was in Ajantha’s hands, she would never have got married or kept on postponing it forever. Want to know the reason why? She feels deeply from her heart for her mother. She lost her father at a young age and she saw her mother taking the pain in bringing the kids up and the love that she has for her mother could not let her make a move to another home to start a new family. After trying her level best to stay at her mothers home for as much as possible, she recently tied a knot with a perfect gentleman last month. In her own words she once said: “I feel very nervous to look forward. I asked my mother three times is there any excuses to postpone it to even for next year. I’m very sad to leave my mother and my family; my mother looked after us along since my father died long years back. She sacrificed her youth only for us. Actually I feel very bad to leave her alone. She is the great mother in this world for me. O.K. lets stop it otherwise I will cry loudly.”
Ajantha is a diehard fan of Raja. She is Raja’s one of the top well wishes and prays for him just like her own family. She did like other fans lost her sleep and voted for him day and night. She also often wonders if she ever be able to meet Raja in person? If Raja is reading this tribute then my sincere request to Raja is to please leave a message for sweet Ajantha. She very much deserves it.
Ajantha did not take long to be one of the dearest members of this site and forum. She connected instantly and started spreading her love. She made us all feel very special. She is very gentle with the words that she uses. She makes friends fast and keeps them. I have never seen her getting into any arguments even when there was difference of opinion. She sure knows how to put things gently and never uses any words that may hurt the other person.
Today with this tribute, Ajantha, I would like to tell you that I love you very much! We all love you here and we are very proud to have you in our lives. May there always be sunshine in your life and may love and happiness follow wherever you step. We value your friendship, your feelings and “YOU”.
We wish you all the happiness for your newly wedded life. May there be only love, happiness, good health, caring, plenty of wealth and plenty of laughter.
