clip_image001It is now confirmed that Aneek Dhar and Sayantani Ghosh got eliminated from Ek Se Badkar Ek show.
TellyChakkar Report says, “Sayantani-Aneek and Abhishek-Meenal Jain were in the bottom two this time. Then there was play-off between Aneek and Abhishek to decide the winner. Both Aneek and Abhishek performed well. However, the judges found Abhishek’s performance better thus Aneek and Sayantani had to leave. For the second straight week Abhishek was on the verge of being eliminated and expectedly, he was thrilled to have survived again.”

clip_image001[5]Confirming the news, Aneek says, “I too am surprised by the result. I don’t think there was any drop in my performance.” So did the judges err in their verdict? Aneek replies, “I don’t want too sound too diplomatic but I would like the viewers to see my performance and draw their own conclusion.”

Reality show singers may not figure in Bollywood charts but they do find alternate ways to remain in the limelight. One such option is hosting. Rahul Vaidya, Vineet Singh, Abhaas, Mouli Dave are prime examples of this. Aneek Dhar has now joined this list.
The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 champion is all set to host Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla. Confirming the news, Aneek says, “I will be hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Bangla). The shooting commences from August 25.”

Ek Se Badhkar Ek is a unique reality show which sees performances from a pair of singer and dancer. All contestants are judged by a pair of choreographer and a singer. However, a few eliminated contestants have not been comfortable with the idea of a choreographer judging a singer and vice versa.
When asked to comment on this Aneek replied, “Unfortunately, such is the show’s format and I wouldn’t like to comment anything on it.”The Bengal lad had rose to fame after winning Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. After an outstanding season last year, viewers expected an even better show on Sa Re.. Challenge 2009. Unfortunately, thus far it has failed to live up to expectations.
Commenting on this Aneek says, “I too am getting to hear this. My close friends too tell me that the current season isn’t as enjoyable as the last one.” We at RajaHasan.Com wishes Aneek Dhar and Sayantani very best for all their future endeavors!

    shobha what i dont understand is how could they have aneek and abhishek in round off?? isnt a singer versus singer and a dancer versus dancer suppose to be there? how can a singer and a dancer compete in face off?
    everything is so damn fishy!!
    Zee will never sudhurofy.. they will remain the same stupid self. :(
    i just hope and pray that we dont see a abhishek and kushal in finals… man i will just stop watching Zee forever then!!! and I am SERIOUS!!

    Raja has hosted SRGMP Middle east/pakistan, but he is no longer considered a reality show singer. He is now a singer that figures in the Bollywood Charts……

    Raffu that’s what I am concerned about - like I pointed out in one of the earlier comments - the judges are so obviously biased - for Abhishek & Meenal pair and Kushal & Sanchita pair - anything can happen. Man, I’m going to be so upset if Zee and/or the judges fool around with Raja again. And I am going to stop watching Zee too (unless Raja is on… :) ).

    I did see Saregampa Bangla today - possibly a rerun of past shows. And I thought Debojit as the host did a pretty decent job.

    i really do hope they dont do the mistake of declaring them as winners.. if they do then nobody will be as big losers as zee.
    its really bad to go against public decision.. they are right now witnessing it.. srgmp 2009 doesnt have the viewers what it had for 07 so they better learn out of their mistakes or else they will be loosing big time.

    i hate to say this but from the jodi’s that are left …it looks like Raja and Jassi might be the next to go…..

    Abhijeet wont let Sanchita go and Ahmed ji wont let Abhishek go ….. That means that Raja and Jassi will be the ones left out ….

    Now, i hope zee realizes that such a decision will not go well with the audiences … and if they realize that then they will again change the format of the show and make it a final between three jodi’s ……

    Raja Hasan has sung the song Kangna Tera Ni Shanu Kariya Ishare ( Punjabi song) from the album Kangna by Dr. Zeus and in the Chotta Chakkar he sang Saaki Saaki from the movie Musafir originally sung by Sukhwinder Singh.

    For the full performance Judge Ahmed gave 6 marks and Judge Abhijeet 7.
