Raja Hasan - Allah Ke Bande - the 45 second version

On Ek Se BAdhkar Ek tonight, Raja Hasan put in a 45–second version of Allah Ke Bande in the “Chotta Chakkar” round. The choice of song was very much understandable – as this was supposed to be an unplugged version – and Kailash Kher’s original was pretty similar.
Nice, compact, clean singing. And the visibly nervous Minal who got to judge him, gave him the standard 8 points.
Ahmed Khan, who never lets an opportunity to pass by – pounced in to say that the singers had a “mutual admiration society”. Me thinks, the mutual admiration society is still a lot better than the “you-scratch-my-back-and-I’ll-scratch-yours” society that exists between Ahmed and Abhijeet.
At the end of the day, Raja and Jaswir ended up with an impressive 45/60.

But the sad part of it is that they got the lowest marks this time.
Aneek was so sweet! I think he gave meenal 7 marks only because he was upset abt the marks she gave raja!!!
Guys we have to vote like crazy.
I really liked his 45 seconds attempt.
I must admit - I no longer watch this show - unless I have doing nothing else to do. And Raja-Jaswir end with the lowest marks? I am not one bit surprised. After the out-of-turn vote appeal in the last week - I expected nothing different.
Manish throw some light on the out-of-turn vote appeal business. What is it? Am completely foxed!!

I am glad that abhijeet clarified that …kahin par bhi sur gaya nahi tha raja ka ….i was surpirsed when meenal was tyring to point out mistakes ….i thought may be i didn’t hear carefully…
Raja had indeed sung this marvelously,incredibly swift and delicate harkats …what a voice!

rahul…..kabhi kabhi kisi ko thodi der ke liye power de do to wo thoda over confident ho jaata hai. same thing happened with meenal.
meenal ki singing se main kabhi impress nahi hui. uski aawaz bus kano ko sunaayi deti hai ,dil ko nahi,
manish……kahin aapko aisa to nahi lag raha ki raja ne is site par kuch jaldi hi vote appeal kar di hai aur abhi us vote appeal ka sahi waqt nahi aaya?

Can someone please explain to me what is the meaning of this statement by Abhijeet ? - “yeh sur se kahi pe bhi nahin hila tha …. but 8 marks is good number - for the singing”. Grrrrrrrrr.
I just saw ESBK - and this is probably going to be my last such show… Grrrrrrr. I’m so tired of the histronics and the soaps and just fed up with the whole thing. Why can’t there be a straight forward talent contest without all this needless, never ending masala.
I really, really enjoy Boogie Woogie - I hope it stays the same - or else soon there will be nothing for me to see on Indian channels other than movies and songs.
Oh well, I feel slightly better - got worked up there for a little. Must remember to do the meditation and the breathing exercises. hahahaha
