Raja Hasan’s Song in Chandni Chowk to China

Yet another song sung by Raja Hasan is due to release soon, again in one of the most awaited films of the year, Chandni Chowk to China. Raja has sung the track with ex-SRGMP 2007  contestant Sumedha Karmahe. The song will be a romantic number.

Chandni Chowk to China, an action comedy, is directed by Nikhil Advani, who has  directed Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam-E-Ishq. The music has given by the legendary Bappi Lahiri. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Pedukon, Mithun Chakraborty, Pankaj Kapoor and Ranveer Sheorey . The story line is basically a reflection of Akshay Kumar’s life, where a chief is mistakenly believed to be a martial arts hero. Chandni Chowk to China is the first Indian movie to be produced by Warner Brothers. The media has already labeled this film as potential blockbuster hit.

The movie is currently set to release October 24th 2008. Yes its a couple of months away, but the music will probably be released early September.

    Thanks Lavanya, the song Raja has sung could be by Bappi da, but I have also read on one website that Bappida has sung a song for the movie, n e ways Raja has sung a song for the movie thats a big news no matter whether it is by Bappida or SEL. I bet Raja will rock the song….

    Okay, let me clear up the confusion.

    Chandni Chowk to China is not entirely an SEL album. It is a multi-composer film.

    Most songs have been composed by Nikhil Advani’s regular composer trio - Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Apart from this, one song has been composed by singer Kailash Kher himself. There’s another song done by Bappi Lahiri. And there’s a fourth composer involved - a musician of Chinese origin, who possibly will be working on the background score as well.
