Raja Hasan in Fund-Raising Concert in Detroit

Jiya-dhadak-dhadak-rajaUnconfirmed reports say that Raja Hasan could be part of a fund-raising concert in Detroit in early August. (Thanks Vivace for pointing this out).

It seems Raja along with Mauli Dave and Indian Idol stars Emon Chatterjee and Amit Paul will perform live on Saturday August 2nd, 2008 at Detroit Symphony Orchestra Hall located at 3711 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI. The show starts at 5.45 pm.

This event titled “August Melodies” is being bought to you by Foundation of Michigan Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (FOMAPI). It is a Fund Raising Event for Cancer Awareness in Michigan and India. Ticket Prices range from $50 to $250.

As Raja would be scheduled to be back in Mumbai for the shoot of Ek Se Badhkar Ek by mid-week, it would probably be a quick dash to Michigan and back over the weekend.

    If I had known earlier, I could have planned to go there. It is about 5 hours drive from Chicago. I will ask my friend Malinder Wadhawan in Detorit whether he is planning to go. I wish I had known way before.

    Before you plan your trips or book your tickets, I suggest you get a confirmation from organisers that Raja will indeed be there. Very often it does happen that publicity posters are printed - and the show simply doesn’t happen.
