Whenever Raja Hasan participates in these reality show contests – news comes in flying from all corners. Some turn out to be true, and sometimes a few don’t.
Rumour is that Raja Hasan could be singing Lagan Lagi – the Sukhwinder hit from Tere Naam. And composed by my favourite Himesh Reshammiya.
But, as the shoot […]

Here is a post left by Faizia, who never believed in the crazy-fan stuff – until she happened to meet Raja in person.
I am writing this post while I am still gazed after meeting Raja-ji in person in Mcdonald’s. It was a dream come true. I didn’t know this is wat people call “fans craze.” Earlier, […]
Lavanya tells us that Ritesh Deshmukh performed at the IIFA Awards that were held in Bangkok earlier this month on Raja Hasan’s De Taali song Maari Teetri.
For viewers in North America, check local listings – you can still catch it in a few hours time.
Special thanks to Aliza for giving me the info on […]
For Raja Hasan fans outside India who were concerned about the fact that there was no way for them to vote, here is a bit of good news.
Ek Se BadhKar Ek has now opened it online voting section on its official website.

Interestingly, to the delight […]
Things on Ek Se Badhkar Ek began with leftovers of yesterday – the elimination clash between Kushal and Purbi.
Kushal’s theme was “war” and he dressed up in camouflage and went on to do a left-right-parade. Purbi on the other hand was handed over the theme “Disco” and she danced away to my eternal Bappi da-Usha […]
Former playback singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s political views and his politically motivated ideas on Pakistani singers are rather well documented. So is his past track record on breaking laws - where he has booked on at least two cases of physical assault - in one case he tried again to wriggle out of the scenario by […]
The opening 10 minutes of today’s Saregamapa 2009 curtain raiser was so dominated by Raja – that you could rename the show as SaReRajaPa.
Things began with a powerful performance of Raja Hasan with Maahiya. Dressed in black, it was wonderful display.
And then he followed it up with what Aditya Narayan said was a song […]
Here we go!
On Ek Se Badhkar Ek, things began with Abhijeet singing Chalti Hai Kya Nau Se Baarah. And immediately you wish that he gets nau do gyaarah.
And then a twist. Babu announces that every couple is given a theme this week. And with a massive amount of imagination, Champ and Naagin are given the […]
Dressed in a white shirt and a purple sweater, Raja Hasan took stage to perform the much awaited Tadap Tadap ke from Hum Dil De Chuke sanam. And the theme for him was “Passion”.
He started off softly sitting down. And slowly he seamlessly moved to the higher notes, building up a crescendo. With no […]

It’s a question that has been bothering a small section of Raja Hasan fans. With the new season of Saregamapa around the corner - and the focus shifting to newer participants, there are a few people who wonder if that will affect Raja’s popularity in any way.
I, for a few reasons, don’t think so.
There […]

In a series of announcements, here’s another. News is going around that Raja Hasan recently recorded a song for a film called Kabootar.
If you recall last year’s Saregamapa series there was Cash’s director Anubhav Sinha who made the announcement that they would be using the voices of six singers from Saregamapa for his first […]

“I am a Raja ki Teetri.”, she said.
“You are a what?”, I blurted out.
“Raja ki Teetri - Raja’s butterfly”.
“And why do you call yourself that?”
“Because Raja does sing Maari teetri. When Raja says Maari anything, that means he is referring to me.”, she said.
“Isn’t that a bit too optimistic?”
“Not at all. He is referring […]
Grapevine says that Raja Hasan could be singing Tadap Tadap Ke from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam this weekend on Ek Se Badkhar Ek.
As most of you would agree that this Ismail Darbar coposition would suit Raja perfectly.
Here’s the video of Raja singing this song in a concert in Florida late last year.

Interestingly, “coming soon” promos of Choti Bahu were telecast way back in February on Zee TV. But for some […]
