Should we vote for Raja Hasan?
We have no idea yet - but assuming the fact that the Ek Se Badhkar Ek show will be based on SMS, text or televoting - should Raja fans be voting for him - given the fact that the only one to be benefited would be Zee TV?
The ordinary Raja fan’s opinion about Zee is well known. However much one might claim that if it wasn’t for Zee, Raja wouldn’t be the Raja we know - one fact cannot be ignored - Zee robbed your money and mine.
And the utter optimistics they are, Zee would like to do the same thing again.
If you have seen the Ek Se Badh kar Ek promos featuring Raja and Aneek - though light-hearted - it again seems to build up a fight between the fans of the two singers. And given the fact the one of the judges is an absolute loose cannon, chances are we could see the same drama all over yet again.
But the point is - would you vote for Raja Hasan, given the fact that Zee would be getting all the revenues?
My first reaction is - absolutely NO. No way am I going to spend a penny on Zee - even if it means Raja does not win. To be bitten by the same snake twice is something I don’t prefer.
But sadly, it doesn’t work like that always. No Raja fans voting for him could mean an early exit (If Zee is truthful with its results) - and lesser exposure on national television for Raja. The biggest problem is Raja needs exposure at this juncture - specially because Maari Teetri is in the market. Plus, fewer votes for him could send wrong signals that his popularity is diminishing.
This remains my huge dilemma. To vote or not to vote.
Perhaps the second-best thing to happen would be Ek Se Badh Kar Ek not having public voting at all. It is a possibility - a 7.30 p.m. start isn’t primetime (The sun hardly sets in the subcontinent during this time of the year). And it doesn’t look like Zee TV’s premier programme. Chances are the show would be very similar to Ustaadon Ka Ustaad - with judges points and an audience poll.
And the best thing to happen would be Raja singing Maari Teetri in one of the performances. It’s a catchy dance number - and it gives the song a little more exposure.

Manish, nowadays “reality shows” are based on 50% judges decision and 50% studio audience voting…perhaps this show will be on this format !
If it is completely public voting again and if Raja asks for our votes, how can we NOT vote !??? Will do anything for Raja despite knowing fully well how Zee uses him time and again to fill its coffers…
BUT lets not worry at all because RAJA is a winner already and he need NOT depend on winning any other show now…

Kavita u r absolutely right. We all know what happened in saregamapa, but this show gave him very good exposure, publicity and that is most important in today’s show business. I know that if we vote money will go to zee tv but if raja became winner or at least runner up becoz of our votes then zee will definitely gave him more publicity. ( remember zee cine awards raja sung 3 song more then so called winner anik.) our votes will defiantly going to help him.
I understand all of you but somehow I really dont know if I will ever support or be willing to be used by zee again. i loathe what they did to raja and how bad they made us feel how defeated and demoralized and the futility of all our votes given by doing the most inhuman things and all the bad feeling that resulted.
However I will go by the collective decision and if we decide to vote will vote till I drop dead.
I don’t feel like voting at all….instead may be we can collect the money for some charity cause ….
I will not get to see the initial episodes in the first place. I will be on the move once again relocating to Chennai with my children next week. Will of course come to the site for the videos once I settle down.
I never got a chance to do SMS voting during Saregamapa days, I don’t know if I will do now. I agree with Rahul SMS money can be collected for a charity cause. Voting will not make any difference as Zee will make its own decision!
vote na karne ka sawal hi nahi paida hota. kyonki jab raja zee tv se aaj tak juda hua hai to hame to raja ke saath chalna hi hai. hame raja ko show ke end tak le jaana hai.jeete ya na jeete us ke liye hum mentally prepare to hai hi.lekin main raja ko votes ki vejeh se demoralise hota nahi dekh sakti. aur phir dono hi halat main zee channel ki jeet hoti hai.raja ke jaldi jaane se zee yeh proov kar sakta hai ki last result sa re ga ma ka sahi tha. agar end main hera pheri hoti hai tab bhi zee ki jeet hai. jitna maine raja ko samjha hai usi base par mera yeh sochna hai ki raja contoversies se door rehna chahta hai woh ye achhi tareh janta hai ki usse isi system main apni jageh banani hai.hum sab ko yeh bhi to sochna chhahiye ki zee ke exposure ki vajeh se ek beshkeemti heera .hame mila hai. is dunia main na jaane kitne talents exposure ki kami ke kaaran waste ho chuke hai.
R u guys serious….WE MUST VOTE!!! Agar Raja ko Zee se koi problem nahi hai to why should we?? WE can not deny it is because of Zee TV that we all know Raja.
Forget about supporting Zee tv…JUst think about supporting Raja and keep voting please please please and thank you!!

But Raja must be a winner at any cost.
Mai tho bas ek hi baath kehnaa chahtihoo ke ,doston wo din yaad keejiye jab Raja kaha tha ki poori duniya iska ghar hai aur hum sab iske apne hai to please zara sochiye agar humare ghar se koyi apna participate kar rahe to kya hum sochenge kya is me humara apno ki nahi sirf channel ki benifit ho raha hai,
nahi naa,mai to aisa nahi sochsakti aur mai ye hi kehna chahti hoon ki agar koyi bhi apne aap ko Raja ke fan samajh te ho to bina soche vote kare please aur is baar hum bhi humare taakat (pyaar) channel walon ko dikhadenge,kuch bhi ho hum Raja ko jitake hi chodenge,
Raja agar future me bhi kisi contest me participate karega tab bhi hum ko saath dena chahiye aur humara Raja hamesha jeetna hi chahiye.

ok…..Raja is participating in another show after some time…we at first saw srgmp…which indeed was a great show..and there we saw our own Raja…he was presented to the whole world…by who…zee tv…no one else..if it wasn’t for zee we wouldn’t have know who raja is…and then….throughout the whole show…Raja was at top for votings most of the timee….and zee was right at that time…the only time zee went wrong was when they were making the final decision….zee made a mistake…but even though Raja wasn’t announced as the winner of the show…our love didn’t decrease right??
and then….after a long timee…he appeared on UKU…which was on sony….the show was goood…and then at the end it became even greater..because Raja was announced as the winner….
and noww…Ek Se Badh Kar Ek…which will be telecasted on zee…so what if its on zee again….yeah zee didn’t do justice with Raja…but zee did give Raja a name…..
So…I am thinking that……
we all raja fans..should….or maybe shouldn’t keep the srgmp results in mind…i don’t think that will really make a difference now..yess again Aneek is on the show…but who cares….all we gotta worrry about is Raja…we don’t need to worry about …or…I should say that for now we shouldn’t recall the srgmp results…I say that we all fans should give our whole support to Raja…if it comes to voting…or anything else…we just have to be with Raja….
So please everyoneee….vote for Raja….give him your full support…and yeahh why worry about moneyy…money tho zindagi main bhaar bhaar ayengi…lekin Raja ko voting karne ka mouqa bhaar bhaar nahi aayega….so please everyone…please please…vote and support Raja….
Friends don’t vote these shows are only playing with our sentiments.Raja will get what he deserves it is all predestined .’naseeb se agey aur samay se pehle na kabhi kisi ko kuch mila hai’.These shows are all a farce in the name of reality.
I don’t feel to vote and waste my precious money , just because of great manipulator zee tv. even if Im a great fan of raja Im not going to vote this time.
about rajas fame ,he already got the fame what he deserves .and rahi raja ko support ki bat , then I will purchase N………….. no. of cds of rajas albums !!!!!! ……..

after 13th oct 2007,i have not votted even once for any reality show.but when it comes to raja ,i know i can not resist the temptation to see him at the top…knowing fully about the manipulation of the channel….
I do not believe ZEE had manipulated any thing. I thing North East people are very dedicated for their candidates. Look at Debojit, Anamika and Prashant Tamang. As I know, people from South(I am also from South) are not at all passionate about these things especially Hindi world. Rajasthan folks have to work hard if Raja has to win.
From US, I was voting in the Internet every day. I do not know how to send SMS from here (I have a cell phone) even though I am working in AT&T which is pathetic. It is not that common here like India.
