Saregamapa team shines at the ZEE Cine Awards 2008

zee-cine-awardsSaregamapa 2007 stars Raja Hasan, Aneek Dhar and Mauli along with three Lil Champs performed at the opening of ZEE Cine Awards 2008 in London.

The show opened with a great tribute to yesteryears stars courtesy of Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma team, film fans were delighted to see a young boy render a few lines from Junglee while being spurred on by the great Shammi Kapoor. Zeenat Aman, Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, Govinda and Fardeen Khan were also targeted in what was a sweet nod to the songs of Hindi cinema through the ages and those who made them their own.

maineIt was an opportunity for the upcoming singers to show their talent in front of the whole film industry.

It is good news that their presentation was nice and liked by all present.

They performed a medley of 14 songs of yesteryears. We are waiting for the video. Hope we get it soon.

    but it should not be 10th or 11th may ,i will be away in my native village, there is no ‘zee’…

    the actual ceremony of zee cine awards will be telecasted after may 16th… on every Friday …and they will be showing the highlights of the making of zee cine awards - spicy moments till date.
    so i am assuming that zee cine ceremony for 2008 will be telecasted on the following week after May 16th.
    urmee… i think u r safe… enjoy ur trip to native place.. and when u come back enjoy the show :D

    Ye program 18 May ko Telecast hoga. Raja ne 3 Song Gaye ismain…but jaisa ki Jugal bhai ne kaha ki Medley ki tarah inka show hua.
    anyway Raja ki performance ismain Gazab ki rahi hai, Jaisa ki Maine suna hai,aapko bata raha hu.
    aur haan, jab Raja ne ye 3 songs gaye tab camera Anil kapoor, Govinda aur Randheer kapoor par tha…
