The Grand Young Lady of this Website, Is a Year Younger Today!
She is the mother, mother-in-law, agony aunt and Lalita Pawar (all rolled into one) of this website. On a very special day for MMao, we have a special tribute for her from Raffuchakkar.
As we all know mothers are very special in our life and will always stay special. They say under mother’s feet lies heaven! What would you say when you have a double doze of heaven in your life? I guess the “most fortunate” or the “luckiest people on this earth”. And I think I, along with many others here are luckiest or the most fortunate. That is because we have Mao in our life along with our own mothers.
Thanks to Mao for accepting us as her children and with open arms. She is that adorable person who takes many times our jokes in the right spirit, who when I teased her saying she is a guy, just to prove she is not, uploaded her picture, (of course she is beautiful - just like a princess), she plays with us like a dear friend, she also corrects us when we say something wrong. She is a big kid at heart and can mingle with any age group with ease and grace. Try talking to her about Rock Hudson, Waheed Murad, Shammi Kapoor or Shah Rukh Khan and you will see how passionately she can talk about them. Her love is never ending.
She is the most adored person and a life of the forum. She became a reason for people like me to log on to Forum every day to chat as without chatting with her, our day sounds meaningless or incomplete.
Some new friends must be wondering who we are talking about and who is Mao?
Well Mao, “She came, she saw and she conquered our hearts.” She is Mahvash from Afghanistan, born in Calcutta, grew up in Karachi, and lived most of her life in Nova Scotia, Canada. Many friends call her Aunty, but for me she is “Mao”, my “Maa” who is equally close to my heart just like my own mother. In her I found a mother who speaks just like my mom, who also loves unconditionally, whose heart skips with joys when she sees her daughters and sons (us - her new family) happy, who stands strongly for what she believes in and also guides us, encourages and inspires us.
Her diction in many languages is undoubtedly unbeatable. She is a great fan of Raja and to her Raja is the second singer in her life who she is crazy about after Mohd. Rafi.
Today is her special day - a day to celebrate big. It is her birthday - a day for all her loved ones to thank God for sending such a loving and special person in our life!
So Mao jaan,

guys was away on work for three days and guess what I find when I get back: this website that manish had threatened (hehe just joking manish don’t jump at me for this adjective) to close down has never ever been as alive and kicking as it is now - not even in its Raja crucial heydays!!!

I also believe in unconditional love & it seems that all Raja’s fans are very similar to each other. Just a quick note to thank you for embracing my sweet Mahvash (I call her Beba) in your midst. I cannot tell you how much you all mean to her, you have become a focal point in her life. Only one other person I knew in my life with such a capacity for loving, my own dear mother (RIP) and they became fast friends when they met, even without speaking each other’s language.

Uncle, Mao is very important and is just like our family - I totally adore her. And I am very sure lots of members have to say the same thing.
