Most things in life have a shelf-life. So does this blog.
It has been eight months since we have continuously kept updating this website - almost everyday. But it is getting a bit difficult to maintain the updates with very few people contributing.
It has been a tough decision, but this blog will not be updated anymore. Not unless anything very critical crops up. I have my own work-commitments that I have overlooked for the past few months. Now, it’s probably time for me to get back to work.
The pages of the site will still remain as archives. It is just that the blog will not be updated anymore. The Raja Hasan forums will continue to run uninterrupted.
If you have bookmarked this website or are looking for daily updates about Raja, you might now have to look elsewhere. Or you can keep any eye out on the forums, where you can find user contributed updates from time to time.
It has been a wonderful journey and the list of people to thank is enormous. Thank you everyone who have visited this site in the past few months - thank you everyone who has contributed with their thoughts, opinions and writings.

Manish it is very hard decision for you to take since you have devoted so much of time to build up the site working day and night searching for news, videos and pictures of Raja and updating the site everyday or I should say if necessary every hour. It was also hard for me to leave the site and forums but by devoting too much time for this we forgot our personal life, works and commitments.
We tried our best to support Raja by even going out of the way but now we have to look after our personal life too. So don’t be sad and life has to go on.
Let us wish Raja Best of Luck and hope that after one year we hear that Raja has become a leading playback singer so that we can atleast proudly say that the support we gave him did not go waste.

Manish, I am heartbroken.
I do understand though Manish. But I am still heartbroken and distraught. You guys have become family and an integral part of my life and it hurts to read that this too has a shelf life!
I guess that now at least I have to figure out how the forum works.
Maybe you will change your mind hee hee. Am really really fervently hoping so. In any case you are the guy who has introduced me to the blogging world. And I must say this is the most interactive space that I have found.
Manish will you change your mind and carry on???? We of course promise to help you by contributing stuff etc.
Anyway you really must get on with your life, that’s true. We should see what solutions we can come up with so that this also runs and you also pick up the threads of your Manish-before-the-Rajablog life hehe.
Jugal my deep heartfelt thanks to you as well. You guys are wonderful and gifted human beings.

and by the way some of the clients that I lost out on during Raja’s fans’ struggles, I have lost them for good.
In fact there is just one who carries on with me and that too just fro; time to time, not like before.

Manish my eyes are wet when I write this. This is the first ever blog and forum I have ever participated. It has been a very good experience for me for all these months. I really respect your decision. Life has to go on. Though my involvement was very little I know how much time it takes for all this.

You guys have been just amazing. I cant forget that day when, after hearing Raja sing, I googled and stumbled upon this site. To be honest, it was more because of you guys that I started appreciating Raja even more than I ever would have.
You rock! I just hope that we see much more of Raja updates on this site, and wish we all can keep contributing to keep it going….
Can we not pool in money, hire professionals, websites, etc for providing content? I would love to do anything to keep it going.

OMG… this is the first sad news for me personally in 2008. Everything is going fine till now and suddenly “Blog is closing”… I couldn’t belive this….Manish what happened??? I am sure everyone has ignored their works to keep the forums alive but not as much as you people ignored yours…Hatsoff to you both(Manish and Jugal). The effort you both have put in this website to uplift the enthu in Raja fans is truely appreciable. I owe you a lot and like many others, this is my first blog which I ever interacted online and came across many good people here and made freinds. Manish, Please don’t close this blog. Let’s say we make it less frequent. Update it once a week. May be others can give some commitment to share the writing. Even if there are 4 writers, the blog can be continued with everyone writing once a month.

I dont think we should shut the site down completely, if and when there are updates they should be put up.I understand Manish u are very busy but others can contribute articles and things so keep the site alive sI to all the responsibility is not on u…
I think that if we all put in a little we can keep it alive, i love reading Raja stories and them commenting on them….we cant just shut that down!

I will like to say that Manish never meant that this blog will be closed down. He meant that it will not be updated as frequently as it was done in the past. It will be updated only if there is any breaking news about Raja.
The reason behind not updating frequently are that this site has maintained very high standards from day one with nicely written articles as well as very fast updates about Raja and once Manish posts a article on the site it becomes his duty to keep round the clock vigil of the site to check if any adverse comment has been written and also to see the reaction of the readers. This means that Manish is full time engaged on the site and hence neglecting his personal works and commitments. Secondly to record ,edit and upload videos needs lot of time and even thinking about a topic and writing a nice article also needs time. Manish has almost devoted 9-10 months of his life for this. So let us wish him all the best and give him a big thank you for all his hard work which I think is not enough.
So from now on regular news about Raja shall be posted in the forums by members and readers can check it here:

my eyes r almost wet to read this news. very very sad. this was the first site i had ever been so closely associated with . i used to share my poems with nobody…….not even with my parents b’coz i always felt that if u dont share same level o feelings as the poet does , u cannot get to the depth where yu can cherish it the most. but here i met those who loved raja asa much as i do. so , you had all especially MANISH AND JUGAL had become more than a family for me. people to whom i can pur my heart out, with whom i share many common experience. my eart aches to say good bye to you all. i mean no updates about raja? no disscussion of his hidden qualities………..how is it possible to live without it.
i used to be so relaxed even when i wud miss an episode of any show with raja , as i was so assured that i wud get it here but anyways ………….i understand………life has to move on
i especially insisted my father to gift me a laptop when i will b going to US for ilot training only so that i could b in closer contact with you. but……………….you know, i will be all alone there. but i was happy that i woould still be having such good friends there… those were u.

OMG ur such a great person for doing such a great thing for a great person.. Raja is great and he will do rgeat in the future. It is hard to constantly follow a celebrity unless they have a new thing coming out or appearance every single day… Raja is a human being trying to mark his presence in the world and you should to in yoro life with yoor job or family or whatever.
