“No, I didn’t write the lyrics on my palm”
If you remember Raja Hasan’s Chinnama Chilkamma performance from Meenaxi on Saregamapa, Shekhar, had pointed out that it didn’t look professional that Raja wrote lyrics on his hand during a live performance.
Raja simply didn’t contest Shekhar’s comments at that point of time.
In a recent appearance on Zee Next’s Saregamapa Lil Champs Hungama, where he has a chat with the kids, Raja makes it clear that he did not write lyrics on his hand. He had in fact the names of his parents and guru written on his hands at that point of time - as they gave him the confidence and the luck to do well.
But Raja did agree that he was did mess up with the lyrics a couple of times during the show and it was due to a few personal tragedies that had taken place during the time. But he was very much clear that he hadn’t written the lyrics on his hands as Shekhar had mentioned during the Chinamma Chilkamma performance.
I don’t have the video of the chat Raja had with the kids yet - but I’ll post it as soon as I get it.
