The Raja Hasan Interview - Part 2

This sounds more like an “Everything you wanted to know about Raja Hasan, but never got answers“. In the second part of the Raja Hasan interview telecast on the Best of Saregamapa on Zee Muzic, Raja gets a lot more comfortable, a lot more wittier and incredibly funny too.

So what do we get from Raja this time?

To begin with, he talks about his Chakravyuha round where he got eliminated and he gracefully accepts the verdict. And then he talks about the disappointment on not winning the crown But he does insist that the disappointment lasted only for a few moments. And he leaves things to destiny.

And then the fun part begins. Here’s where Raja is at his best - displaying his amazing acting talents. Watch the video and you’ll know what I am talking about.

Next comes the question I have always been dying for an answer - why did Raja pick up the Maahiya song? It was an absolutely unheard song from an unreleased film. Plus the song was never even picturised. It was just that Salman Khan did a few scenes in the incomplete film. Whatever - it was a masterstroke of a decision to pick that song - his one performance won him so many new fans. But whose decision was it to select the Maahiya song? Watch these videos and you’ll get to know the answer.

And in the final part - he talks about the one person closest to his heart - his wife. He does hint that the decision to keep his wife away from the spotlight during the Saregamapa days was the decision of the Saregamapa creative team. In this part, Raja is again witty - and at times very tactfully sidesteps issues that he prefers not to talk about. Finally, he sings a song for his love - one we have heard before.

    What I liked about the whole interview… Raja was incredibly careful in choosing his words to say. He spoke so sensibly….

    And the way he answered why he did not runaway with Ayesha again shows how spontaneously he can come up with some witty answer.

    Raja you are amazing and down to earth. Just be like that forever.

    I just do not have much to say (ha! ha!) - only once in a while, I do write a few lines. I read the articles, all the new topics in the forum and thank you all for the wondeful things that you all talk about. So, I’m there mondays to fridays for sure - you just don’t see me writing anything, that’s all. Just love the interaction between Raffy, Sonam and you and Manish - was very funny when Jugal was also around. So, all of you are part of my life now. There’s no getting way from me.
