Sorry, I couldn’t update the site for the past few days. I had to take a break that was long overdue - no, it wasn’t a holiday, but I had to clear out a lot of work that was pending for the last seven months.

But let’s come back to Raja Hasan. Now that the Saregamapa world tour is over, not much is happening and not much to report on. But let me quickly put together a quick recap.

# Raja Hasan has admitted that he could possibly be recording for Adnan Sami in the near future. Unfortunately I don’t have more information on this.

# Raja left for Israel for a brief tour and is back. The Israel show in organized in the Red Sea resort city of Eilat was a huge success. The 4000 audience, of mostly Indian jews were spellbound by the performances of the Saregamapa singers. The annual event dubbed ‘Hoduyada‘ (gathering of Indians) saw an enthusiastic response - the beach on the Red sea coast was transformed into a ‘mini-Chowpatty‘ as Indian music reverberated the air and stalls of ‘bhelpuri’, ‘papri chaat‘ and other snacks common on the Juhu beach seen all around.

# Raja does make an appearance back on television on a new channel called Zee Next. He can be seen with other Saregamapa singers on a show called Rock the Dhunn, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8.p.m., IST. It is a musical show, without the competition and drama of Saregamapa and thankfully, no Himesh Reshammiya.

To round off, here’s a video of the title song of Rock the Dhunn, featuring Raja.

    Thanks a lot, its nice to watch this video, atleast I can see Raja here, as I do not have Zee next on my t.v. coz I have tata sky and they are not showing this channel.

    thanks for the wonderful update. I am so happy to know that Raja jaani might be recording for Adnan Sami. Yah!!! and Yah to the concert in Israel. I am so suprised with so many Indians there … bravo :D
    Adnan was really impressed with Raja when he was a guest on SRGMP and we could make out with his expressions. I am so happy……. and Adnan… a big big thank you to you!! :D :D
