Happy New Year, Dear Raja

rOn behalf of Raja Hasan.com and all Raja Hasan fans we wish Raja a very very Happy New Year and we wish that the year 2008 also belongs to you and you reach great heights in your career.

Till about two months back, we knew very little about Raja. We had only seen his Saregamapa performances and we knew that he has a divine voice and he sings from the heart. We always saw only Raja`s smile and thank you after each performance and we never saw him talking or interacting with the audience. In the Saregamapa shows he just stood and delivered. Only once Raja spoke during the show - that was after he finished singing Rut Aa gayi Re. Raja ne bola to dil khol ke bola. See for yourself what he said:

But in last two months we have seen much of Raja Hasan. RHB and me have been working almost round-the-clock to let the world know about Raja Hasan. We tried to give each and every information about Raja`s performances. We have downloaded and uploaded each and every performance of his on this site and forums with the help of all Raja fans across the world. Now we know what Raja is made of. He sings awesomely as well as interacts with the audience from the word go. He covers the whole of the stage from one corner to another. You can see this video from Raipur concert where Raja starts his interaction with the audience as soon as he is on stage and gives an awesome performance making the audience sing with him. Pandit Jasraj ji ne theek hi kaha tha “Wakai mein Raja to Raja hi hai bhale hi kahin woh maat kha jaye kahin kuch kha jaye par woh rehta to Raja hi hai.” See the video here from the Raipur concert courtesy Vijay Bhai:

So now we have done the hard work by giving all the information about Raja to the world and now it is the turn of other Raja fans to get more active and contribute to this site by writing articles about their thoughts about Raja since it is not easy for only two persons to carry on. We have tried our best to keep the site updated and maintain the standards. So it’s my request to all Raja lovers across the world to contribute to this site so that it becomes easy for us to keep the things moving. We have to support our Raja as we have been doing last 8 months. We also thank fans who contributed with pics, videos and accounts of all the shows during the world tour.

So I hope people will contribute and show their love to Raja. You can email any article written by you to rhb(at)rajahasan.com.

Let’s take Raja to further heights so that we can see him accepting the Filmfare award for best singer in the year 2008.
