Jugal Kishore Bajaj reports on how Poonam too has recorded for the Bhojpuri movie Bhole Shankar - which is shaping into a big cast movie.

Mr.Pankaj Shukla who is a big name in journalism circles has confirmed that Saregamapa contestant Poonam Yadav has also recorded a song for the bhojpuri film Bhole Shankar. Pankaj Shukla said to us “You will be glad to know not only Poonam but I have recorded a song in the voice of Ujjaini as well. Poonam has sung a very melodious separation song and Ujjaini has worked wonders for a song that she shares with Manoj Tiwari and Indu Sonali. Poonam shares credits of the song with none other than legendary singer Shailendra Singh in the film Bhole Shankar.”

Mr. Pankaj Shukla is making the movie Bhole Shankar a big one .Already Manoj Tiwari who is a big name in Bhojpuri movies is the lead actor in the movie along with Mithun Da. Now he has roped in the famous singer Shailendra Singh to sing for Mithun Da. Shailendra Singh has sung big numbers for Mithun da in the movies Tarana and Suraksha.

Commenting on this Mithun said, “It is indeed a pleasure to have a singer like Shailendra Singh in our team. When director Pankaj Shukla narrated the song situation to me, the very first name that came into my mind was that of Shailendra Singh. And, I was so happy to learn that even Pankaj has thought of getting this song sung by Shailendra.”

Present at the time of the song recording was the hero of the film, the Bhojpuri super star, Manoj Tiwari ‘Mridul’. Manoj welcomed Shailendra Singh to Bhojpuri cinema and said, “Bhojpuri cinema has finally arrived in a big way and after the likes of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Ajay Devgan supporting the revival of Bhojpuri Cinema, more and more stars of Hindi Cinema are expected to join it. Shailendra Singh has been the idol of many singers and he has a big fan following. To have Shailendra Singh in the team of ‘Bhole Shankar’ is nothing less than an honor.”

The movie is produced by Gulshan Bhatia, ‘Bhole Shankar’ boasts of a huge cast and is seen as the biggest Bhojpuri film till date. Mithun Chakraborty plays a very special role in the film while Manoj Tiwari ‘Mridul’ plays the main male lead. The film has three heroines cast opposite Manoj, namely Mona Lisa, Lovy Rohatgi and Niraali, while the likes of Rajesh Vivek, Gopal Singh and Shabnam Kapoor are doing the character roles. Crime Reporter fame Raghvendra Mudgal makes his debut on big screen with this film. ‘Bhole Shankar’ has lyrics by Bipin Bahar and Music by Dhananjay Mishra.

It’s nice that Pankaj Shukla is giving chance to new singers and lets hope the movie is a big hit and the song sung by Raja is also a big hit.
