The people behind Raja`s Bhojpuri song

As we already got the news that Raja and Mauli has recorded solo songs for a Bhojpuri movie Bhole Shankar now we have tracked down the people behind the movie and the songs recorded. We got the first picture of the persons connected with the Bhojpuri song recorded by Raja and Mauli for the movie Bhole Shankar. The movie is directed by Mr.Pankaj Shukla who is a renowned behind the scene TV personality. He has produced many highest TRP gainer daily and weekly shows and was the Programming Head of ZEE news. *He is the man behind trend setters shows like Bhoot Bangla, Honi Anhoni and Bach Ke Rehna to name a few.* A big name in journalism circles, he is a talented director and a leading personality in the TV fraternity. His home town is Unnao which is in Uttar Pradesh. Pankaj is a keen blogger and his work can be read here.

The lyrics of the song has been written by Mr. Bipin Bahar who is one of the biggest names among Bhojpuri lyricsts with over 2000 songs to his credit. The music director of the movie is Dhananjay. See this picture of all the persons connected with the song.

I have requested Mr.Pankaj Shukla to send me the lyrics of the song sung by Raja and I am waiting for his response. As Raja said “Gana bahut acha record hua hai ”lets hope it becomes a hit song.

    Dear All,
    Thank you so much for the appreciation of the work. In fact when the song was concieved by me in visuals, I was worried as to who will be the right person to convert my imaginations into lyrics. Bipin Bahar has been writing the demanded and average stuff for Bhojpuri Films for a long but his taste for literature made me select him to wirte this particular song. There were sittings, quarells, discussions and hot debates over the wordings of the songs and finally when it was ready, even Bipin Bahar could not believe that he has written such a gem. He is a wordsmith, and it is upto his directors how they use him.
    The song was originally thought for to be in voice of Rahet Fateh Ali Khan. I contacted Mr Mukesh Bhatt to get his whereabouts but he told me that Rahet is a yayawar and it is hard to contact him. My next and last choice for the song was Raja. Raja has that rustic finish in his voice that was the first requirement of the song.
    The songs that Raja has sung is for film Bhole Shankar *ing Mithun Chkaraborty, Manoj Tiwari, Monalisa, Lovy Rohatgi, Rajesh Vivek, Gopal Singh, Shabnam Kapoor and introducing Raghvendra Mudgal, and I am sure it is going to be a milestone in Raja’s career. Not may singers get a song like this so early in thier career. The recording with Raja and Mauli was the first day of our work for the film. We have almost finished pre production work and are soon going to start the film’s shooting. We hope to wrap up the shooting part by January end and make the film ready for the release around Holi or so, if everything goes as planned, beucase planning is one thing that you can never be sure of in Mumbai film industry.

    I just had a brainwave.It might be wrong. When the show began, vishal-shekar spoke about their trump card(singer). THe fingers suddenly pointed towards a singer frm S.Africa, who was out in the first round itself. the duo were teased about it too.could it be Raja n the fact washid frm us.
