The Raja Arrives Home Today

Raja Hasan, taking a break from his hectic schedule after Saregamapa, is arriving at his home-town, Bikaner today. Raja, after a gruelling few months in the competition, had immediately gone back to fulfilling his commitments after Saregamapa. He immediately caught a train to Surat to join Ismail Darbar’s Dandia after the finals. Since then he has been on the move - covering the entire country, doing shows - and in between even recording for VS.

Today, he arrives home. But is that a break from work that he deserves? Surely no. On a two-day visit to Bikaner, he’s hardly going to have time. The entire Raja-crazy Bikaner city will be there to greet him, wish him.

And on 29th evening, he’ll be performing live once again. But this time for his home town. The local Raja Hasan Fan club has organised a Raja Hasan Live show on the Railway grounds in Bikaner. And passes for the show will be distributed free. We’ll keep you updated on his Bikaner visit through this blog.

But this visit provides a rare chance for Raja to interact with his family and home-town friends. And it comes just as his first playback song promos from High School Musical 2 are being aired. And promos of another song due to be released anyday now.

And after his Bikaner visit, Raja will be back with the usual routine - travelling,
stage shows and recordings. And of course the Saregamapa world tour scheduled next month.

Update: Raja has apparently modified his plans a bit and has left for Ajmer Sharif from Jaipur. He will arrive in Bikaner by tonight. Meanwhile, here’s another Vijay Vyas contribution to keep us all interested. A 14 year old Raja!

    I am feeling so happy for Raja. He has given all of us endless hours of pure joy listening to his music. Every song that touches his lips becomes immortal. Songs that I had heard but never really enjoyed that much come alive when Raja sings them.

    I am really choked with emotion. May God bestow all the world’s happiness, joy, peace, and good health and ofcourse good voice on Raja.

    Raja will reach Bikaner only at night. There has been a change in his programme because he has decided to go through Ajmer in order to pay obeissance in the dargah before going back to Bikaner.
    His father is on the way to Japipur to pick him up there and then they will proceed on to ajmer and then only will they leave for bikaner.
    So Raja crazy fans in Gikaner have to wait till tonight or tomorrow in order to meet him.

    My friend and I just met Raja at his house. We are in India from the U.S. and came to Bikaner to see his performance tonight. He is not just the most amazing singer we all know him to be, but I can confirm that he is definitely the most humble and polite person you could ever meet. Will post pictures/videos later…
