Vishal: My Orkut account could have been hacked
Vishal Dadlani, Raja Hasan’s mentor, and the person who wrote to a fan from his Orkut account that “Yeah they cheated” regarding Saregamapa now has done a U-turn and gone on to deny all statements.
Vishal does agree that the statement was made from his Orkut account, but now says that his Orkut account has been hacked many times. He also makes things clear that he has made no such statement to the media.

Further, he goes back to his diplomatic self and says:
“I am very clear of the fact that Zee was very transparent, and very straight forward as far as votes are concerned. My only issue is with the voting software’s used by all fans as that I consider as cheating. I do believe that Aneek deserved to win, and I have no negativity against him. I hope people would support him and also Raja and Amanat as all three are really good.”
On the other hand, a member of this forum and a close watcher of Vishal’s Orkut account did mention that Vishal has the habit of blurting out things on Orkut and never check back. This time sadly, he had to check back.
Whatever the story, I’ll give Vishal the benefit of doubt. After all, he is Raja’s mentor even after the show - and would have Raja’s interests at heart.
And did you find Vishal’s clarification convincing? I’ll leave that to you.
Now, I think we need to bug Raffu to give us our prizes. Raffu, are you there????...

During my telephonic conversation with him, I did speak about his orkut message and he admitted to having posted it and said that he has been receiving lots of scraps about it and links to various things after that.
He didn’t deny it to me at all. In fact he admitted to it.
And he also said that it was obvious that things had been manipulated because Raja is the clear winner, this is what he said verbatim, and that amanat for that matter technically speaking was far superior to aneek.
His only point was that there was no way it could be proved that zee manipulated the votes and that there was no way one could win in courts on this issue and also that zee was a formidable entity to take on.

In addition to Raja I bow to you to for all your support to him. I remember your post after u had a talk with Vishal and that’s what u have mentioned again. This goes on to indicate that the pressure tactics are still working and that’s what is making them be their diplomatic self again. A ptiy actually….Seeing that a lot of people are saying let bygones be bygones…..

You are actually right. What’s done is done and I say this because whatever Zee has done, they will not recall the decision or own up the wrong doing ever………..This is my feeling, no offence intended to people who are still tryign with all their might….
Even if Vishal has recalled his statement or as RHB puts it we give him benefit of doubt, the statement was very true…. Inspite of the rigging, since Raja has won our hearts in the true sense and has got so many singing assignments(TOUCHWOOD !!!), we (Raja and his fans) have actually won.

At the end of the day the only loser is public who has made Zee richer by crores. But India mein sab chalta hai aren’t we all used to politicians looting crores of public money !!

RHB, I’ll give Vishal the benefit of the doubt b’coz he’s Raja’s mentor and I believe that he has Raja’s best interests at heart.
His talking about the voting software and not SMS/tele votes [it is a hint to us], he’s staying out of trouble with Zee. All associated with srgmp are contractually bound not to speak of ‘behind the scenes’ stuff.
He is also helping Sonu Nigam for his ‘little champs’ .
Padma, I think you’re just amazing. Maybe, Vishal is telling fans to let it go and it is better for Raja this way and not try to sue Zee, etc.
I think Aneek is someone much higher up at Zee’s personal beneficiary.

I know it is tough for us to swallow how devious some people can be.
I found Vishal to be the least fake person on the entire unREALity show. Nothing has made me change my mind till now.

As Vishal says softwares were used to vote for Aneek and as per ZEE rules one vote from one valid email ID was countable.Software genereted fake ID`s.So that itself is cheating by ZEE if it happened.
Directly or indirectly its cheating.
We posted about Vishal`s orkut message ist on our site long back and yesterday it was copied and posted by Shady town on India-forums and then the moderators there who are Aneek`s supporters got up from sleep and talked to Vishal.
Why will a decent man like Vishal speak in public about the matter so he covered up.
The cheating is known to the whole world and we have no doubts on it.
But the good news is Raja today recorded a song with Vishal Shekhar.
Thats a achievement for Raja a nice begining and he is travelling to all parts of the country since the contest ended.
Although Aneek has returned to Mumbai.Aneek was not even booked for shows in Bengal.
So lets hope Raja gets to the top and wish him best of luck.

To totally agree. He is really not a fake at all. He is just being realistic and practical and really has Raja’s best interests in mind.
I do understand him but just wanted to state facts about what he told me.
He is quite obviously not saying that to the media because he has to protect raja and also because he seems like someone who would not like controversies etc. That’s what is good about him and shekhar but my preference was Vishal because I found him more genuine and no complexes at all.
That’s why I chose to speak to him rather than to shekhar. no airs about him.
He did assure us that Raja will go very far.
But I am not Vishal and can never be and I still would like zee to bite the dust for all their wrongdoing. Basically I guess I am not a very realistic or practical person at all. How sad for me boo hoo

I guess Padma is right morally & one should not take shit lying down but by trying to bring Zee to their knees, all that will happen is that our knees will get dirty.The bottomline line is that Raja’s career is looking up & nothing should be done to jeopardise it. Making enemies of powerful people like Zee will serve no purpose. Vishal is absolutely right to stay out of controversies & ensure that Raja gets his due.
Very sad that Vishal had to go back on what he said …very sad that in this country, we have to live in fear and be so very hesitant to speak the TRUTH …whatever happened to freedom of speech ??
It is all very well to play safe and be diplomatic and all that but while doing this, one is actually supporting corruption instead of taking steps to fight it…I think Ismail Durbar was far more courageous (whatever his reasons might have been) and truthful !!!
As long as Vishal and Shekhar support Raja I have no issues. I can understand what Vishal and Shekhar must be going thro’. even they would have liked Raja to be declared a winner. It would have been a gr8 journey for them as well. But I think lets leave VSR to do their work and give us good music.

Well, If Vishal changed the statement, It is very surprising. But at the same time let Zee announce the actual vote count, thats more than enough for Raja Fans.
The others are calling Raja Fans “Grapes are sour”. We just want the facts, let them have the grapes who is bothered. We will have sweet fruits, who want the stale and sour ones anyways…..

Vishal seems to be a balanced person…but we raja fans shud ignore wat he said in the interview…afterall he n shekhar took raja in hit squad from eklavya gharana and when raja got eliminated in that too…again they both made a point to bring back raja someway..thru Brahamastra round..

If we know Vishal and Shekhar they will never ever give up their balancing act. He he scraps the msg on Orkut for Raja Fans, their talks to people on phone and keeps them happy whoseover fan they may be. Later they give clarifications to IF forum about zee and software keeping zee happy and Aneeks fans cool. Give a statement to media only to leave people guessing….Good I admire VS for this…………..Keep everyone happy and keep doing own work………..
I don’t think to hack the voting system using a software is easy,If you have noticed when ever you used the website to vote there was a graphic alphanumeric text,that text is a graphic image which is randomly generated and its almost impossible to read a graphic image via a software unless you can get to the databse of the system,which is the last layer of any system,there are many levels of security and even to log into database and manipulate the votes you need the login for the database even after bypassing various security layers…So i don’t think it was hacked by Fans…
ZEE HAD MANIPULATED the votes…and it was very evident in the finals when they said they got 10+ Crore votes from INDA and 4 crore votes from overseas…but the total for each contestant(IF you add the each votes displayed for each of the 3 finalists) were 10 CRORE…what happened to the remaining 4 crore votes….
BTW the voice in this interview does not sound like Vishal’s voice…are you sure that it is his voice…
Now its surprising ! VISHAL is saying AMANAT is more trained and talented and if he has to choose a winner then he will go for amanat !!!!! what is this ?? I just don’t understand . Being a trained singer I don’t find any extraordinary qualities in amanat .Like other two he also has many drawbacks!! I just don’t understand whats going on!! saregamapa is loosing its all charm and status .I am not going to vote any more for any reality show. First and the last time in my life I voted for RAJA .any way ALL THE BEST RAJA .I am eagerly waiting for his upcoming songs!!

The stupidity that rediff did was that they stored the value number in image in a cookie at the client side. The softwares simply picked up the value from this cookie and filled it in the form. Rediff should have encrypted this cookie value and then there would be no software possible. If you saw the s/w you would have known how easy it was.

I agree with you. I also voted for RAJA as for the first time, there was a singer who was way better than others. However, Vishal only said that Amanat is much better than Aneek.

I understand why Vishal is talking like this now. Well, he never wanted to get into controversies and I guess want to be part of saregamapa in future (I guess being part of the show have done them good in terms of exposure and who knows how much they are paid so a good income). But at the same time he does know that the show was rigged that why the statement. RHB, he hasn’t denied that he wrote the statement himself on orkut. He basically is saying that by using ‘they” he referred to those who used voting software and those people are cheaters and not zee. This is just for diplomacy. I am a big lover of Vishal for the person he is. I just hope we haven’t put Vishal in trouble. I hope they don’t stop supporting Raja. Coz I don’t know how much we can achieve in fighting with manipulative zee. But we Raja fans definitely need VS to support Raja now.

Past is past. We have to learn from past and have to planned our future. It is not worth to live in past. Vishal might know very well tht speaking abt some points may be disadvantage to RAJA but we shouldn’t forget tht vishal was da only one who protect RAJA from HR&ID and VS is da very first supporters of RAJA and they were always behind RAJA’s success. Pls. freinds lets forget it. There should be a reasom to say like this to media
Padma, yes, your belief in a legitimate and rightful cause is admirable. If there were more ppl like you around, the world would be a better place.
It is not for me to tell you or anyone else what to do,. I just think that we should take cues from Vishal simply coz he’s the insider. As you get more info., inputs, counsel from various sources, I’m sure you’ll decide on a suitable course of action.
I’m sure Shekhar is a nice guy and his PR skills must be an asset to VS as a MD duo just as they were/are to Team V-S-R [term coined by RHB].
