Yeh Dil aur Yeh Paagal Raja Mera
Sometimes, I wish I had never heared Raja Hasan’s singing. Life would have been a lot easier.
What have I done to deserve the sleepless nights his fascinating voice gives me? Why does a simple ghazal rendition of Yeh Dil Yeh Pagal Dil Mera bring alive those moments from the past? Moments, that I had conveniently forgotten and buried in a deep dark corner of my heart. As he painted varied designs on the a single word, paagal, why did he take me back to a world I have hesitated to step in all these years?
What right does the mellifluous, baritone voice have to bring tears to the eyes? Why does the magic he conjures give me a feeling that all is well with the world? Why should a simple voice be allowed to move a million hearts?
Is it ethically right to possess a voice that can make people cry, smile or be happy at will? Should he be allowed to manipulate feelings as he wishes - just through an enthralling song?
Wish I never heared his singing. Life isn’t the same anymore.
Paagal ho tum Raja, poore paagal.

I am a regular visitor of this site.but I never posted any coment .most of the people think in friday performance AMAMAT then raja then aeek.But if you listen carefully raja was the best of all!!!! he made his own modulations very effectivelly.he sang it in his own style keeping orginal flavour of GULAM ALI SAB.he dent tyied to coppy it n that is more important. or gazal me jo bhav(emotions) hote hain na !! that was fatastc. these all things were missing in amanat .what do you think? in zanak zanak .–it was also the best. usake karjeke sur –we think ye ek claccical gayaki ki aada hyen. shayad PANDIT JASARAJ wahan ye comen karana munasib nahi samazate!!!!!

So True, RHB….. even i wish that. While reading i was in tears, this guy has changed everyone’s life. I’m taking all the nonsense of my boss as I’m not able to complete/ concentrate on my work and its bcoz i’m totally occupied in voting for Raja……
Raja you have influenced our lives; we all are united and united for u because of u. Out of nowhere u came and changed our lives. How can u do that to us Raja? After seeing you and hearing u we all feel a very deep attachment with u. You have bought us with ur humility, ur singing….When HR says something to u our blood starts boiling, we all want to protect u, why? I dont have an answer for that.

Very nicely said one example here i am up to have sehri and pray and guess what i am doing looking for news on Raja and hoping may be todays shows reactions are here. The charm of Raja is to enthral us with his very unique voice there are no Raja clones around all i can say is it is amrit,sweet sweet voice

He is the inspiration to write, though I try to avoid writing. I have a question for him…..What do you mean by “Yeh Dil ye pagal Dil mera, kyon bujh gaya, Awaragi”?
What do you think you have done to all the people around the world? You sit on the stage with that Royal look, pleasant smile, Spark in the eyes and Divine voice and still call “Your Dil” Pagal. This is simply not acceptable.
Are pagal to hum ho rahe hai. Every week we are used to this treat of divinity and you make us hum your tunes allllllll the time.

Even he wasnt he has all the qualities like the gopis used to get still after listining to krsna’s flute and him we become completely numb when we see him, hear him…..

But, frankly speaking, AMANAT was better than RAJA yesterday, for sure. Don’t you people think so???Ofcourse, it’s also a fact that Amanat’s voice is more suited to soft ghazals that he sang yesteday.
I have overheard that RAJA rocked today i.e. on Saturday with Sukhwinder’s songs. I am eagerly waiting for the episode.
Raja, you made me cry. Bhagwan gave you so many good qualities including a mesmerizing voice. RHB, first time I cry when I heard his Ghazal and second time while reading your article. I just watched the Friday episode (since it telecasts only today here) and I cried all over again. I mean, I knew what to expect, and yet I cried when Raja sang. He is magic.
I’m still quite light-headed from it all.
Yes I really wish he’d do a world tour. I would give anything to see him perform in person.
Amanat and Poonam were amazing too. But there’s just something in Raja’s voice… he did miss the sur once or twice at the beginning of Jhanak Jhanak, but when he sang the anthara, I was just dumbstruck. Panditji was right, Raja will remain Raja.

Especially about the fact that votes from outside of India are going to Aneek. I thought that Himesh could only impress the rickshaw drivers with his antics, but I guess I was wrong.
Everytime I visited this site, I felt stronger because I read so many views that echoed mine and I was certain that Raja would lead the votes coming from outside India and within.
We need to double our efforts ,guys.. It is about Raja’s victory, his future and about showing jokers like Himesh their place or else we have to suffer his dramebaazi next year too!

I have now officially replacing, the ghulam ali’s version of aawargi from my playlist and substituting with raja’s version.
Not because raja was better, (they are incomparable) but because raja’s was a fresh new version, with raja’s signature strokes sprinkled all over. I agree with the post, life is not the same!

Very truely said. Raja will be very happy to read your article. You can read Raja’s fans minds; hats off to you. I wish I hadn’t heard Raja’s voice as well. Life would be so much easier. I would be just studying. I had been living for myself all this time. It was all about I should do this and I want to become this, I want to go here and there. It was all about me even loving someone was just for myself to some extent. But after hearing to Raja, I spend half day for Raja. I don’t know why I just love his voice and want him all the success in life. I hope he rocks today!

you know what ,he was just outstanding in -ye dil . i can say this as i am a classical trained person and i just don’t know ki anik ka performance kisi ko kaise achcha laga . he is just nakalchi bandar and nothing else. & this is what i like about raja -his own style.
he is so different & many of you would agree with me that he was actually cute&killing in his low scale. yes there was a time when his low scale wasn’t good but now it is kamaal . i wish i could kill himesh reshammiya .anyways please keep voting
