Raja Hasan’s #1 Fan! No it isn’t you.
Sometimes I wonder what makes Raja Hasan click. So many experts and not-so-experts have tried done their bit - tried to dissect him, cut him to pieces- all in an effort to decipher him. But without luck. We can possibly never find out why he mesmerises us with his singing.
On the other hand many people do criticise Raja’s fan following. They say we are blind-followers who understand nothing about music. They say that we blindly keep voting for this man, who simply doesn’t deserve what he is getting.
Really? I just have a very simple rejoinder for them. Just have a look at the video below. All it takes is a four-year old Avantika to prove that Raja’s charm is simply universal. Who else can get such cute kids into such a rocking mode? Chak De Avantika! Raja would be proud of your performance.

But inspite of that, Raja’s voice touches our hearts and that’s the sole reason we are his fans and want him to win. And I have now started strongly believing that, “A smile can truly win hearts”.
Inspite of HR’s nonsense every time Raja has been smiling away, accepting the brickbats also with humility. We are proud to have heard you and fell in love with u RAJA.

To add to the collection of songs that I think would be towards Raja’s strengths I really think that he would sound incredible singing the Wedding Qawali from Bombay Dreams this song is composed by AR Rahman and sung by him as well as suhkwinder I think the song is called Sona Sona. Awargi is one of my favorite gazals and Gulam Ali saab is my favorite singer (other than Raja).
Well singing Awargi in front of Gulam Ali himself will be immense pressure.
One cant compare legends like Gulam Ali, Rafi etc. But singing the same songs which the legend made popular and that too face to face with them, is very very difficult.
I cant wait to see Raja perform this feat, and I am sure this will be great.
Hopefully the unnecessarily hyped Amant remains out of the competetion. But Amanat would have been waiting for this round (gazal round), since he is a gazal singer (only).
I pray Raja beats the crap out of Amanat and Jokeria.
Gulam Ali’s gazals r perfect to display all variations which raja wants to present, as gulam ali himself never sang the same gazal ditto to the earlier performance, and he is a master of sound variaotion and modulation. I am sure Raja will have a display of all his modulations this time.
Hopefully Gulam Ali will be happy to see Raja’s performance.

I am sure Himesh Besharmiya must have fallen off his chair when Raja finished singing Ghulam Ali’s Ghazal , ye dil ye pagal dil mera and Chal Chaiyya Chaiyya….I can’t wait to see his face….and ID will say “yaar himesh chalo bhago… Raja Ghazal bhe ga sakta hai…Aneek toh gaye tu bhee gaye”.
Wish you had Raja’s video of these songs. I am sure he must have really sang well…I am still digesting the best news you gave us, that Raja is a Ghazal singer as well. In my opinion Mr.Ghulam Ali Ghazal’s are not easy to sing.

I just read somewhere that the final is on Oct.13. That is very soon. We need to send a lot more votes than last time. I am sure Aneek and Amanat fans are voting non-stop. Everyone plz some more votes just two more weeks. I have got two big papers and a midterm coming up. But I just made my schedual. I just wished Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan was the judge…….would have liked to see HR’s face when he would have praised Raja for singing the awaargi ghazal. Also Ghulam Ali is a far more superior singer than Jagjit Singh. When it comes to Ghazal singing nobody can touch Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali and Abida Parveen. Sonu Nigam used to have her as a judge hopefully she might come as a guest judge next season if sane minds prevail instead of HR minds. And hopefully the Indian janata will give more votes to Raja than the International janata (i am ashamed of being in that category since they picked Aneek…….yuck yuck……last week).

While Deepika sizzled on stage, Shreyas was his usual charming self. So impressed was Farah Khan with one of the mega finalists, that she promises him a break in her next movie. Unable to decide which of the three deserved to be the “Titan of the day” the gift was given by the contestants to Deepika.

I am waiting to see how gracefully Raja woul dperform the gazal, the “therav” and the modulation which Gulam-Ali puts in his perfromace is class apart. The sweetness in Mehdi Hasan’s voice is classic. Raja can be a mix of both. I am waiting for this week’s “Awargi”

(News are she has offered Raja Hasan.. but will have to wait for the confirmed news..) SRK was not able to come on the show as he is bound by a contract with Star..

to speak the truth i was not interested in saregamapa… but after hearing Raja singing ‘Allah Ke Bandhe… my interest grew… since then i am a huge fan of Raja Hasan.. and never missed any performance of him….
i had also tear in my eyes… each and every song of Raja is very touching… no wonder if the audience shouts for ONCE MORE after his performances….

in that episode he was eliminated and even he was smiling… i saw the episode and i was very sad abt his elimination but he was in our destinay and he came back with rocking performances in bramastra Round and he got the highest number of votes…as he still does..

‘Meri zindagi ek pyaas’ was the performance that made me Raja Hasan fan .You can feel the haunting pain in this song….
Is “Jag soona” a confirmed performance? Because Vijay has himself not confirmed it yet.
Anyways, Dard-e-disco is a bit complicated track for a stage performance. Even Jag Soona isn’t easy because of the Richa sharma bit. Hope Raja sings the Richa Sharma part too.

but after observing the voting trends, I am a little worried.
Especially about the fact that votes from outside of India are going to Aneek. I thought that Himesh could only impress the rickshaw drivers with his antics, but I guess I was wrong.
Everytime I visited this site, I felt stronger because I read so many views that echoed mine and I was certain that Raja would lead the votes coming from outside India and within.
We need to double our efforts ,guys.. It is about Raja’s victory, his future and about showing jokers like Himesh their place or else we have to suffer his dramebaazi next year too!
