Save your best for the last, Raja
In any competiton, champions know when to peak. In a hard and bitterly fought competition as Saregamapa, the ultimate champion would be one who has aces left up his sleeve.
And Raja Hasan along with mentors, Vishal-Shekhar would know that. And in the closing stages, Raja will have to perform with numbers he is extremely comfortable with - it’s no secret that people love him when he goes to reach those extreme high notes. And that is why he needs to pick out numbers that will mesmerise the audience.
At best what Aneek and Amanat can do is belt out super hits that we have heared a zillion times. Raja needs to pick up songs that aren’t overexposed. Raja’s best bet would be wonderful compositions, that failed to reach the top of countdown lists, due to a various reasons. All your best performances were songs of this variety - including Allah Ke Bande, Chak de Phatte, Maahiya, Naina Thag Lenge, Omkara and Maa Tujhe Salaam. None really reached the peaks like Sonu Nigam hits - and that is why they are refreshing to hear again.
And if in the finals, you need to sing to a live band instead of a track - that would be amazing. Bring out all the variations you can - and then nobody can stop you.
I have a personal choice of songs, which I feel are best left till the last. And if Raja (or VS) reads the comments that will be posed here in a little while, he’ll find a number of more suggestions from all his die-hard fans!
Here are my choices:
1. Mangal Mangal - Mangal Pandey
2. Woh Kisna Hai - Kisna (Ismail Darbar too sang in this number!)
3. Chak De India - Chak De India
4. Damadum Mast kalandar - Traditional (That should make your Sindhi mentor, Vishal Happy)
5. Thaiyya Thaiyya - Dil se (over used, but still I would like to hear your version)
6. Yuhin Chala Chal - Swades

I think this was sung by someone else in this season before, but ever since I heard the song (which I admit was pretty recently), I’ve wanted to hear it in Raja’s voice.

Right now Raja is leading with 3768543 votes. Which is a record in saregamapa’s history. So he will be no 1 again.
Amanat in second position.
Poonam in third position.
At last Aneek will out of the show as well as his mentor. Right now he is struggling to get third position. He is 143585 votes behind.

I hope HR does not utter crap today for Raja and his singing. A man(donno now if I can say this) like Himesh talking about singing is ridiculous. Raja has done to justice to all the songs on which HR accused him of not -up to the mark singing. I loved the way he sang Pardesi….and on Saturday I even fell in love with him all over again for Jawani Diwani number…..
But when HR started, I really felt like switching of the TV set. But Vishal’s words came like a breeze….It was fun watching HImesh getting irritated when ONIK was acused ….hope he realises how other’s fee and shuts up today.
I felt that the petition we all signed worked. In Friday’s episode there was not mention of the Love Story. I think we can start another petition to stop this Himesh…..

RAJA IS RAJA of hearts. He was able to bring all the divine feelings in the songs Piya Haji Ali. This man is capable of being a perfect singer. A singer is not the one who just replicates the original he should have the capability to add his own flavor for the rendition. This is what is I have observed in RAJA and yes let any body agree or not agree I have only hopes on RAJA that he is the greatest. Zee SRGMP did a great find of this person. All kudos to VS for backing him up. The power mill is yet to roll and the block busters are yet to come.

I think we are writing a new chapter in the Indian realty show history that a fan base can actually be as strong as this one. Aneek is a good Singer, Amit paul, Prashant can do really better than him. Aneek will not get many chances in bollywood, as after all this V-S duo may not give him a chance. Amanat is a very good singer but cannot mesmerize as Raja does. Raja though not so versatile, but he is very much capable of singing all kinds of songs and very good on high notes. I am confident that A.R. Rehman will give Raja a chance, because, Rehman needs such people. Poonam is also a very good singer and I hope V-S will give her a chance, they are the only people who can let her sing in movies( may be bappida too). Himass doesn’t care for anyone after this show. ID ,no chance, he is totally a different type of composer. bappida has very few films in his hand. I think Raja should win the contest, or Amanat, but for Aneek a Big Noooooooooooo. So lets keep voting to get make Raja win the contest
