    Song sung by Mussarat was sung by Raja on June 30 show. Both did fantastic. But, I would still say that Raja was better (may be I am biased!).

    maybe im easily irritable, but himesh is SO annoying on the show, i feel like he talks half the show. it feels like a complete waste of my time. he keeps playing his political games and takes away the respect of the stage, as Vishal would put it. and now ive started to think aneek is annoying too b/c he’s also started to go along with himesh. himesh is trying his best to take raja off the show. ok, im done venting.
    Raja sung this song beautifully! and i hope he sings tonight’s song equally well, if not better.

    @ DheNeGeNe..I am saying it withpout any bias….Mussarat’s control over his voice is very weak and he tends to go besura very often….Raja’s version has far more refined harkats and what to say about emotions he puts in his songs. Mussarat is now being hyped big time…….

    I know. I just didn’t want to start discussions about techincal aspects of the two. He missed couple of upper notes badly and still got hyped by everybody including VS - for me it became a reality political show rather than singing contest.

    @DheNeGeNe, I think it is the Zila Khan version. If you hear Mohd. Vakil’s version in SRGM 1998, it was the same one. The last video is in a previous post.

    Thanks. I have ZilaKhan’s audio version. Very nice classical folk singing. It is one of my all time favorite folk song. This song gives Raja very good chance to show his mastery in semi-classical singing.
    While waiting for you to post video online, I am keeping myself busy doing online voting for Raja.

    No doubt Raja is fantastic singer. He is a well behaved boy. But he is not best among others in sufi gharana. Mussarat is best in that. And he can’t ever sing Mukesh’s songs,Manna Dey’s songs,Kishore’s songs, Rafi’s songs, Sonu’s songs, Abhijeet’s songs, Shaan’s songs, Rabbi’s songs,Zubin’s songs,Kumar Sanu’s songs,KK’s songs and so on….     All fan club of Raja, I think Raja is the best singer not only in Saregamapa but also in Star Voice of India & Indian Idol. There is no hesitation to say this. Raja’s singing quality is outstanding. He is the most deserving candidate of Saregamapa of 2007. And after that show he will be the most busiest singer in bollywood.
