So why is Lalu Yadav on Saregamapa?
Lalu Prasad Yadav will be on Saregamapa this weekend that promises to be fun. When most would dismiss him as an eccentric and a bit of a clown, I would still think of him as India’s newest management guru - the man who single-handedly brought about the seemingly impossible Indian Railways transformation. Easily India’s best performing minister in this cabinet.
A very unusual guest on Saregamapa - why is he on this show? Official word is that Zee TV is looking to build up stronger TRPs in UP and Bihar - so that’s the theme of the show too - Ganga Kinare Waala.
But, then, that isn’t the real reason. It’s a bit of quid pro quo. It all has to do with the BCCI vs. Indian Cricket League confrontation. Early this month Sharad Pawar went on to promote Shashank Manohar as his heir to the BCCI throne. And that annoyed Lalu that he offered Railways’ cricket grounds to Zee’s ICL. He went on to instruct J.P Yadav (and even Sanjay Bangar) to join the league.
Subhas Chandra and Zee need a lot of favours from Lalu in the next few days in setting up the ICL. And Lalu’s appearance on Zee TV’s Saregamapa, is a clear indication to Sharad Pawar that his BCCI house is fractured, and where Lalu’s inclinations are.
Whatever the politics, we just hope singing and the trademark Lalu wisecracks rule the Saregamapa episode.
Now, I think we need to bug Raffu to give us our prizes. Raffu, are you there????...

Do u think it’s really possible that even after such huge fan following Raja can be on 4th position? I guess there is something seriously wrong with the voting system. I agree Raja can’t be no. 1 everytime but seeing his popularity i’ll never agree that in top 8 he is at no. 4.

can someone pls explain the voting ? i was casting votes till today , untill i found out that Episodes were already shot on Tuesday — what about my votes that were casted after tuesday ?? — how can they decide on the results on tuesday when voting was still going on ?
i wonder if internet votes count at all ? since Zee has no revenue coming from it …
