There’s a very good chance of SareGaMaPa being discontinued. Thanks to Zee Telefilms messy ways. Briefly, they simply haven’t bothered to obtain prior license from IPRS and PPL for use of literary and musical works and sound recordings. And now they have a court order hanging over their necks. Other shoes, including Indian Idol have licenses. Even the hotel industry has these licenses to play music at their premises. But then, Zee would remain Zee. More here…
